Our Beginnings
I have to thank my many mentors for giving me the training & encouragement on which our company was founded and continues to grow. I became a licensed, independent contractor, in 1995, dba Shannon's Wallpapering. Our primary focus was residential installations in Ventura & surrounding counties. This was before cel phones were common, and a person's "word" was everything. We earned a reputation for being reliable, timely, neat & professional. Our entire marketing approach was from word of mouth and referrals.
Our Growth
In 2005, we shifted our focus to hotel renovations as well as high-volume mural installations. To reflect our growth into this market we changed our dba to Total Service Wallcovering. Our contracts have taken us throughout the United States, including Hawai'i. Our success in this very demanding market rests on the diligence & professionalism of our project managers and installers. It takes a team! I'm very grateful for our crew.
In 2018 our focus shifted to Mural installations, The skills and aptitudes of our installers have real value in this high-profile market. Under pressure, their professionalism really shines.
About Us
I love my wife Lisa very much. We've been married since 1991 and have 2 girls and 2 boys. We are proud grandparents. I'm from O'ahu, but have lived in Southern CA since 1988. My wife was born and raised in Orange County. We're both members of Moorpark Presbyterian Church, and are involved in bible studies and ministries. My wife collects harlequin clowns. The harlequin logo for Shannon's Wallpapering represents my wife. In so many ways, she is the heart of this company.
